About us

Our journey

A considered approach to conservation that respects craftsmanship, values longevity, and protects our built heritage for generations to come.

Who we are

We believe the best way to protect the past is to work with it, not against it.

Too often, modern materials seal, trap, and ultimately damage the very surfaces they’re meant to protect. We set out to offer an alternative.

Our materials are rooted in traditional methods, using natural, breathable lime that allows buildings to age as they were meant to. They work with the structure, not over it, preserving texture, character and integrity while offering lasting protection.

Sustainability sits at the core of what we do. By choosing materials that are low-impact, long-lasting and compatible with historic surfaces, we help reduce unnecessary repairs and protect what already exists.

This is more than a finish. It’s a considered approach to conservation, one that respects craftsmanship, values longevity, and supports the preservation of our cultural heritage for generations to come.

Traditional materials, lasting futures

Lime is only as good as the hands that apply it. Alongside our materials and consultancy, we run hands-on workshops and practical training for homeowners, builders and professionals, and support those seeking recognised standards in traditional building conservation.
